Job Opportunity: Senior Design Drafter

We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior structural designer to provide valued structural design project support.

This role offers a chance to work on oil & gas projects, particularly brownfield and greenfield initiatives. Mining experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structural designs and drafting services that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Create 2D and 3D structural models and layouts.
  • Undertake design and drafting assignments that meet project requirements on time.
  • Verify drawings and documents in accordance with established checking procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance within the design team and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and discipline teams.
  • Identify issues and develop solutions as needed.
About You:
  • Possess 3D Advance steel expertise.
  • Hold at least 7 years of experience in design drafting – must be confident in working independently and in teams.
  • Have experience in steelwork design and shop detailing techniques.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of industry design standards and practices.
  • Hold an Associate Diploma in engineering or equivalent qualification.
