Senior Director of Mental Health Initiatives

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our mental health reform initiatives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of national and state policy frameworks, as well as extensive experience in designing, managing, and implementing services and programs.
- Prioritize the development and implementation of evidence-based mental health policies, programs, and initiatives that meet the needs of consumers and carers.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the statewide mental health services executive leadership team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sustainable, accessible, safe, and high-quality mental health services across Tasmania.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification or degree in a relevant field such as public health, business administration, health science, or human services.
- Extensive experience in managing and delivering health services, particularly mental health and alcohol, drug, and forensic services.
- Demonstrated senior-level management skills, including financial, human, physical, and information resource management.
