At our logistics company, we are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Freight Handler to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy operating heavy machinery and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move heavy freight within the warehouse and loading areas
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate and secure placement of the cargo
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets

Requirements:

- Valid forklift operator certification
- Proven experience operating forklifts with a capacity of 2.5 tonnes to 16 tonnes+
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and best practices in heavy freight handling
- Ability to work early morning shifts, starting at 6 AM
- Availability to work 50-60 hours per week
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cargo placement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
