This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders and decision makers to identify, assess and mitigate privacy risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide SME support in liaison with regulators and provision of responses to regulatory enquiries relating to privacy and protection of personal information.
- Coordinate responses to privacy breaches, ensuring appropriate reporting and remediation occurs.
- Creation and presentation of privacy related analysis and recommendations to committees, Board and Regulators as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of Australian and relevant international privacy regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also require a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities and conflicting workloads.
