About the Role

As an Educational Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality educational programs that promote children's well-being, development, and learning.

This involves providing exceptional care, activities, and educational elements to ensure each child's unique needs are met. You will work closely with a team environment, managing and promoting a collaborative atmosphere that aligns with our organisation's philosophy, policies, and procedures.

  • Lead the design and implementation of the education program, working closely with Assistant Coordinators/Coordinators to achieve outstanding results.
  • Evaluate children's learning and development to inform program design, ensuring Educators facilitate and extend each child's learning and development.
  • Maintain effective relationships with parents, staff, and stakeholders through clear communication and regular updates.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators on program improvement and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, alongside significant experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality educational programs and services in an Early Childhood setting.
  • Strong knowledge of approved learning frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of child development, attachment, and learning principles.
  • Able to develop and implement evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Familiarity with leadership theories and the application of various leadership styles.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse and challenge conventional practices and ideas.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • A Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
