Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop software tools and systems to support post-trade operations and risk management.
  • Implement data pipelines for internal and external data, aggregating, reconciling, and analyzing trading data from multiple sources.
  • Calculate and explain profit and loss and various risk metrics across a range of trading strategies.
  • Maintain high test coverage and enforce software quality through automation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Advanced skill and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.
  • Knowledge of market risk and how it's quantified.
  • Data-focused mindset and strong analytical skills.
