Senior Software Engineer Position
As a senior software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of League of Legends gaming.
This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and make a lasting impact on the gaming industry. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, producers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality workflows that enable creators to bring their visions to life at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, building, and maintaining software systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Participating in code reviews, writing unit/integration tests, and contributing to continuous improvement of team practices.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand workflows, scope, implement, and test features.
Debugging and resolving issues in live environments and development pipelines.
Writing clear documentation and communicating technical details across disciplines.
Providing mentorship to more junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines is also highly valued.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of professional experience and proficiency with C++.
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with multiplayer systems, content pipelines, telemetry, or build systems.
Proficiency in game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Experience with Perforce and/or GitHub version control systems.
Knowledge of Agile processes and continuous delivery methodologies.
