Job Overview

The Technology Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our helpdesk service and collaborating with the Technology team to provide excellent service to all users in Melbourne, Sydney, and remote locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual eager to develop technical skills and experience.

The role includes:

  • Providing timely and courteous assistance to IT users via phone, email, or in-person;
  • Troubleshooting software issues individually and in collaboration with the wider IT team as needed;
  • Identifying common caller patterns and issues for escalation to resolve problems effectively;
  • Setting up, configuring, and relocating IT equipment;
  • Registering and issuing loan IT equipment;
  • Troubleshooting hardware problems individually and with the wider IT team as required, and logging service calls with external providers;
  • Scheduling teleconferencing and video conferencing meetings, including coordinating with presenters and resolving any technical issues;
  • Recording helpdesk incidents and requests in the database;
  • Maintaining computer asset tracking and updating records;
  • Performing other tasks as necessary.

Your Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with one to two years of relevant experience in a professional services or corporate environment. You should possess a robust technical skill set, a dedication to excellence, and a willingness to contribute to our high-performing team.

You will be a performance-driven individual with advanced communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional service.

Compensation Package

The salary range for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to the competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including:
