Role Overview

The Senior Physiotherapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy services in the clinical specialty area of mental health.

The role involves supervising physiotherapy staff and support staff, coordinating duties and managing performance. The successful candidate will ensure practice is in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct and policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of physiotherapy and support staff.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy services in mental health settings.
  • Ensure compliance with professional codes of conduct and organisational policies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in physiotherapy practice.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
