Role Overview:

The successful applicant will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing clinical care to adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, care planning, coordination with internal & external services, and provide brief psychological interventions.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker.
  • Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, as well as demonstrated excellence in their practical application in mental health and alcohol and drug use.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families & stakeholders.
