Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused individual to join our logistics team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely delivering mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate vehicles and equipment
  • Load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal
  • Securely restrain freight loads using dogs and chains, straps & binders
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing our organization in a professional manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A commitment to safety in everything you do
  • Forklift license is essential
  • MC license preferred, HC/ HR license considered
  • A good understanding of load restraint techniques for mining freight
  • Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR fatigue, and road transport regulations
  • Good customer service and communication skills
