Key Job Responsibilities

The primary goal of this role is to lead complex activities and tasks relating to ICT infrastructure projects. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify business needs and develop systems engineering documentation, system designs, systems maintenance plans, and configuration management plans.

  • Analyse complex systems engineering issues across a range of capability elements and apply expertise to identify and recommend courses of action.
  • Document the system designs and implementation processes using project tracking tools to monitor the progress of project delivery.
  • Resolve issues and problems that arise during capability development projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical leadership skills to optimise the performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Expertise in designing large or complex systems and conducting impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
  • Ability to provide effective team leadership and take responsibility for installation and/or decommissioning projects.
  • Knowledge of organisational system integration and build capabilities, including automation and continuous integration.
