Key Engineer Position

As a Senior Explosive Ordnance Engineer, you will be working on cutting-edge Defence munitions and sovereign defence capability projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage risk and address project challenges effectively.
  • Develop contract changes, technical documentation, schedules, and other project materials.
  • Support integration activities including ship installations and certification of explosive ordnance in accordance with established processes.
  • Contribute to the introduction of NSM capabilities through MARBs and Seaworthiness activities.
Senior EO Engineer Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing weapon plans for Maritime and Munitions capabilities aligned with policy, guidance, and best practice.
  • Planning, preparing, and developing weapon integration activities, schedules, and plans for platforms, considering technical risk, dependencies, schedule, cost, and Fundamental Inputs to Capability elements.
  • Supporting financial management, risk management, reporting, strategic support, data request management, visit coordination, executive-level brief drafting, and coordination and reporting on Maritime Strike and Munitions activities.
  • Providing pre-Gate 0 advice, input, and document preparation in consultation with Navy stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as an EO Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge and skills to undertake complex tasks, including problem analysis, solution derivation, and decision-making to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
  • Thorough understanding of integration requirements within support elements and between EO and other technical logistics disciplines.
