We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Sales Professional to join our Diabetes Team in Sydney South & NSW South Coast. This role is responsible for promoting our life-changing glucose monitoring technology to Health Care Professionals in the region.
The successful candidate will be accountable for exceeding sales targets by executing the business strategy, proactively meeting the dynamic needs of the marketplace, and building superior partnerships with HCP's that bring value to our customers and enhance patient lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform) competitor products disease states and industry compliance
- Demonstrate proficiency in tools of the trade, processes, and policies
- Develop sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluate and track the implementation of these on an ongoing basis
- Plan, execute, and analyze sales calls to create call-continuity with customers
- Promote value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and create solutions to meet customer needs
- Diagnose and track key customer and competitor performance regularly
- Collaborate with the broader Abbott team to identify new opportunities
- Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential
- Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices, however, strong customer-facing experience as a pharmacist will be highly regarded
- Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency in selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous
- Business acumen and analytical skills
- Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy, and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer-focused service to internal and external customers
- Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
- Initiative and proactivity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo while identifying new business opportunities

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include access to a comprehensive employee benefits program and opportunities for professional growth and development.
