Job Title: Payroll Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team in Sydney.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position that involves processing end-to-end payroll for over 1,200 employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider payroll team of 5 people and report into an experienced payroll manager in a complex payroll environment across 20+ awards.
A hybrid working arrangement is offered: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
Key Responsibilities- Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis for over 1,200 employees.
- Act as the first point of contact for any payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with awards, fair work, ATO, etc.
- Interpret remuneration packages.
- Review payroll journals and reconciliations.
- Senior payroll capacity experience beneficial.
- Interest in awards and ability to stay abreast of changes.
- Experience with complex payroll environments.
- iChris/Chirs21 and/or Employment Hero experience advantageous.
A full-time, 12-month fixed-term position based in Sydney (close to public transport). Hybrid working offered: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
