Job Overview

The Gym Operations Director will lead and manage various departments within our gym, focusing on sales, customer service, reception, retail, and personal training.

A dynamic and experienced leader will be responsible for inspiring a team of dedicated professionals to achieve their goals. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends will be crucial to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the sales, customer service, reception, retail, and personal training teams to achieve KPIs and provide excellent service to members.
  • Manage the gym's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and regular financial reporting. Ensure the gym operates efficiently and meets revenue targets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and anticipate changes in the fitness and wellness market. Develop and implement strategies to keep our gym competitive and attractive to members.
  • Address challenges and issues as they arise, making quick and effective decisions to ensure smooth gym operation.
  • Ensure a high level of member satisfaction by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, as well as delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Essential: Proven experience in a leadership role in the fitness or related industry.
  • Essential: Proven experience in leading a sales team and working with KPIs. Ability to perform the membership consultant role when required.
  • Experience in marketing strategy, planning, and executing marketing campaigns using different social media outlets.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Competence in financial reporting and budget management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
