We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Threat Hunter to join our Security Operations team at Nine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for detecting, hunting, and responding to cyber security threats to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential security threats to our organization.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.
  • Detection Engineering: Develop and maintain detection signatures to identify and prevent security threats, ensuring our security posture is always up-to-date.
  • Threat Intelligence: Analyze and manage threat intelligence to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communication: Communicate complex security information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with our security posture.
Requirements
  • Practical Security Mindset: Possess a deep understanding of security concepts and principles, with a practical approach to applying them in a real-world environment.
  • Security Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a security operations role, with a strong understanding of security tools and technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to identify security threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex security information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Programming Experience: Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Security Certifications: Industry-recognized security certifications such as OSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
  • Education: Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
