Food and Beverage Team Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the capacity of Food and Beverage Team Lead. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership abilities, a passion for serving drinks and food, and the ability to set an example through their actions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for every guest, setting the tone for their experience with us
  • Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, highlighting promotions for guests
  • Owning the bar, managing stock, inventory, and equipment while maintaining a clean and organized space
  • Assuming responsibility for the bar during shifts, supported by a Duty Manager
  • Leading by example in handling cash and credit transactions, as well as procedures
  • Collaborating with kitchen colleagues to deliver seamless food service

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a bar and/or hotel environment is essential
  • Previous experience in leading a team is highly regarded
  • Strong customer focus and excellent personal presentation
  • The strength to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 23 kg, involving bending and kneeling
  • Flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, requiring valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
