Job Title: Routing and Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Routing and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in planning the efficient movement of containers.

  • Develop and implement container routing plans to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate with drivers and yard supervisors to streamline operations
  • Communicate effectively with clients to advise on plans and resolve any issues that may arise
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the movement of export containers to ensure timely delivery
  • Book slots and plan import collections to optimize park usage
  • Liaise with drivers and yard supervisors to maintain smooth operations
  • Collaborate with clients to provide updates on plans and address any concerns
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a transport-related role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Chain of Responsibility principles
  • Experience with 1-Stop and Wave operating systems
  • Familiarity with Import and Export requirements at the port
