Experience the difference in delivering exceptional customer service as a key member of our team. We are seeking a Correspondence Officer to join us in fostering good performance and enabling the efficient delivery of services for our community.

Your responsibilities will include managing feedback, correspondence, and complaints following established processes, drafting high-quality responses, and maintaining records of correspondence. You will work under pressure and respond to changes in requirements, preparing reports and briefs on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage feedback, correspondence, and complaints following established processes including creation of EBC records, triage, and distribution to appropriate business areas for issue resolution;
  • Draft high quality responses from Departmental representative or Minister, and maintain records of correspondence.
  • Work under pressure and respond to changes in requirements.
  • Prepare reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.

Requirements:

Be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, political and organisational context awareness, interpersonal skills, influence and persuasion, and stakeholder management. A qualification in a relevant field would be desirable, as would prior experience handling ministerial and departmental correspondence and complaints management.
