We're seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at YHA Australia. As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the Bar runs smoothly by assisting wherever required.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and experience as a bar tender within a fast-paced, premium establishment.

Key responsibilities include preparing and serving food and drinks, operating a point-of-sale terminal and EFTPOS machine, and maintaining service area to food safety standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a bar tender within a fast-paced, premium establishment
  • High volume experience being able to work on multiple orders at once
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Good at cash handling and multi-tasking in general
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent attention to detail & ability to follow instructions
  • Exceptional presentation and grooming
  • Flexible availability 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays
