About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team at St Kilda Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Ensure that all patients and visitors are received in a friendly and helpful manner, either in person or over the phone.
  • Clinical Skills: Possess the clinical skills to conduct detailed assessments of patients to improve health outcomes.
  • Chronic Disease Management: Assess and develop chronic disease management care plans that optimise improved health outcomes and have a passion for managing and co-ordinating care for patients with chronic care needs.
  • Accuracy and Infection Control: Maintain a high level of accuracy when recording and maintaining patient and clinic information, and adhere to Infection Control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, including Cold Chain Management, and be competent in administering vaccinations, spirometry, ECGs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and part of a team, and assist doctors with minor surgical procedures.
About You
  • Personal Qualities: Well presented with a friendly, confident and caring manner, and have an eye for detail and a willingness to be accurate and complete tasks.
  • Professional Qualifications: Current AHPRA Registered, and current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Work Experience: Experience as a practice nurse is essential for this role, however community nursing experience highly regarded.
  • Availability: Unrestricted ability to work in Australia, and COVID 19 vaccination certificate.
