About the Role

Hinchen Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join our client's team in the Motor Assessing Division. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the Quality and Standards capabilities within the Motor Assessing division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs using the correct OEM repair methods.
  • Write accurate assessment reports, negotiating correct scope and costs for vehicle repairs via supplier partnerships or the customer's own repairers.
  • Provide accurate audits to identify areas for improvement and cost leakage.
  • Conduct quality control assessments confirming repair methodology and costs for compliance.
  • Provide immediate assessing assistance during times of catastrophic events, e.g., floods, hail, or storm damage.
  • Travel to required areas to assess damages/losses incurred to determine the appropriate cost and repair methods.
  • Undertake vehicle assessments in line with underwriting terms and conditions and claim protocols.
Requirements
  • Trade qualified in Panel Beating or Spray Painting.
  • Broad knowledge of insurance policies, claims, and assessing procedures.
  • Proficient in customer service delivery and negotiation skills.
  • Able to travel interstate to assist customers during major catastrophe events.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Sound level of computer literacy.
