Quarry Operations Manager

This role provides support to Quarry Managers across the business, focusing on delivering key capital upgrades and driving operational excellence.

About the Role

The Quarry Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily operations, working closely with Quarry Managers to achieve efficient and cost-effective operations while meeting customer service requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a background in mining, quarrying, and delivery processes, as well as experience in Lean manufacturing and leadership practices.

  • Manage daily operations and implement new operational initiatives
  • Work closely with Quarry Managers to achieve efficient and cost-effective operations
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and coach, mentor, and train staff
  • Drive customer relationships and prepare reports on work in progress, costs, and market trends
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a QLD SSE ticket and have a proven track record of management, leadership, and planning abilities. They should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
