In this position, you will work in the branch workshop or on client manufacturing sites, performing maintenance and sustainable capital works on fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate completion of tasks
  • Produce high-quality machines and equipment by fitting and assembling metal parts
  • Inspect and analyse equipment for critical information during refurbishing processes
  • Use various processes (pressing, cutting, grinding) to form metal materials and achieve fine tolerances
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, including threading, bending, and cutting
  • Detect and diagnose issues with machinery, and perform repairs
  • Erect, overhaul, and repair mechanical and fluid power equipment
Requirements:
  • Recognized trade qualification in Fitting or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on sites in heavy industry or mining
  • Commitment to our ZERO Harm culture and behaviours
  • Leadership experience and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • A valid driver's license
