Job Opportunity: Artisanal Baker

Lagom Bakery is an artisanal sourdough bakery on the NSW South Coast, known for its slowly fermented loaves, viennoiserie, coffee and more.

The Head baker's idea of selling his products in a friend's restaurant during the COVID period sparked the foundation of this thriving business.

We offer a great selection of bread, viennoiserie, snacks, coffees and more. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and improving recipes to meet customer demands;
  • Measuring and combining ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to produce high-quality baked goods;
  • Decorating and displaying finished products to showcase your creativity;
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure they meet food safety and quality controls;
  • Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service;
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels;
  • Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time;
  • Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Baker;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Excellent preparation and baking skills;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;

Work Environment:
