About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Architect Lead to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will be responsible for guiding technical evaluations and providing expert advice on data engineering and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical evaluations and provide recommendations on data engineering and cloud architecture solutions
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their data challenges and develop tailored solutions
  • Design and implement architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to engage with technical communities
  • Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to provide technical and business value

Requirements:

  • Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across various industry markets
  • Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with a core strength in Data Engineering and Cloud Architecture
  • Experience designing and implementing architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Fluent coding experience in Python or Scala implementing Apache Spark, Java
  • Experience with Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Hadoop, Cassandra, and others
