We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team at the REO Group, a leading renewable energy solutions company.

Salary: $165,000 - $185,000 + Super + Performance Bonus

Location: Sydney CBD

About the Job

This is an exceptional opportunity to seize a career-defining role in cloud infrastructure management and data analytics. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in data integration, performance, and security.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and optimising cloud data infrastructure and systems for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Managing and maintaining Azure servers, databases, and data pipelines to support seamless data operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data infrastructure with business objectives and requirements.
  • Overseeing Azure private networking to ensure secure and efficient data communication.
  • Implementing security best practices to safeguard data integrity and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure.
  • A strong background in managing Azure IaaS, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Expertise in networking, security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience with data platforms like Databricks and proficiency in SQL.
