Job Title:

Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers to determine their supply chain needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Record and track all stock movements in and out of warehouse, from suppliers and customers.
  • Manage direct costs and indirect/overheads costs relating to accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers involved in accounts.
  • Review supplier performance.
  • Directly manage key commercial leads to increase revenue on accounts.
  • Align invoicing with contract and rates conditions.
  • Prepare strategies that ensure ongoing viability and tenure of the accounts.
  • Build a strategic partnership with other business divisions.
  • Manage and oversee Warehouse and Domestic Transportation operation. Ensure KPI level vs. expectations.
  • Lead key monthly & quarterly operational review.
  • Direct and train managers in operational best practice.
  • Provide advice to management and customers on optimal supply, storage and distribution of the goods being handled.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a strong foundation in logistics and supply chain principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
  • Skilled in managing and nurturing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Possess solid operational knowledge of both warehousing and transport functions, including inbound and outbound processes.
  • Proficient in using CargoWise One (CW1) with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supporting smooth inventory control and order fulfillment.
