Electrical Fitter Mechanic Position in Energy Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Fitter Mechanic and/or Linesperson to join our team at Energy Queensland.
About the RoleThis permanent position is based in Gatton and offers a unique opportunity for an Electrical Tradesperson to contribute to advancing the energy transition towards net zero while enjoying a healthy work-life balance, career growth, and a strong focus on safety, diversity, and inclusion.
- You will be responsible for installing, repairing, commissioning, and maintaining various items of electrical equipment and plant as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
- As a Linesperson, you will construct, maintain, and repair overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains, and customer service lines.
The successful candidate can expect:
- A remuneration package including from $108,859 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + additional allowances and overtime.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Availability for call-out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- A current 'C' class open Drives Licence is essential; an HR Licence is desirable.
