Role Overview
We are seeking a Tax Accountant to provide vital support to the Senior Tax Manager and collaborate with various departments within our multi-divisional structure. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with tax obligations, particularly in areas such as GST, fringe benefits tax, and withholding tax. As a key member of the finance team, you will engage proactively with other teams to ensure precise tax reporting and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Key Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a chartered or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of tax legislation and its application.
- Experience with tax compliance reporting and systems.
- Proven track record in tax compliance, tax effect accounting, and tax consolidations.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with tax effect accounting software, preferably CCH Integrator.
- Effective communication skills with advisors, accountants, and stakeholders.
