About the Role

We are seeking experienced support or care workers with 6 months or more experience in personal care skills to join our team in Carlton, VIC.

This is a permanent part-time position with guaranteed hours and shifts in Carlton, VIC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for older people.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers' nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting independence and engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, understanding the importance of self-care.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring timely and safe travel.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with compassion and expertise.

Requirements
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
  • A passion for assisting our aged community, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
  • Comfort working independently, finding solutions to everyday problems, and knowing when to ask for help.
