We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an in-home support specialist.

This role involves providing high-quality care and support services to valued customers in their own homes, with a focus on aged or disability care.

To be successful in this position, you will need previous experience in the relevant field and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additionally, you must live locally or be willing to travel to designated areas such as Liverpool, Fairfield, or Smithfield.

About the Role:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation services to customers.
  • Personal Care: Assist customers with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
  • Social Support/Transportation: Accompany customers to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments, while also providing transportation for social events.
  • Aid and Equipment Support: Assist customers in using personal aids and equipment, as well as provide support for those with complex needs.
  • Customer Monitoring and Progress Reporting: Monitor customer well-being and report progress following each service visit.

About You:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good Interpersonal Skills and written/verbal Communication skills
  • Ability to Build Rapport and establish good working relationships
  • Comfortable Using Technology, including mobile apps for accessing rosters and recording customer feedback

Additional Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)
  • Current First Aid Certificate/CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Reliable Vehicle and current Australian Drivers License
