**About the Role**
We are seeking **Home Care Employees**to join our Home Care team in the Western/South West Sydney areas.

The Home Care Employee is responsible for providing person-centred care to ANHF’s home care consumers to meet their identified needs; enable residents to enjoy optimal independence at home, and provide transport, domestic assistance, companionship and personal care needs.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Personal care (such as showering or bath, shaving, cutting nails dressing & PAC, etc);
- Domestic assistance, such as cleaning, laundry work and cooking
- Transport services
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff from ANHF
- Provide effective updates to HCAs and RNs regarding changes in consumers' health conditions and care needs.
- Maintain documentation on residents as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
**Essential**:

- Able to communicate in Mandarin and Cantonese
- National Police Clearance.
- Valid Australian work rights
- Experience in home care settings
- Evidence of good team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write simple reports in either Chinese or English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Up-to-date COVID vaccinations
- Current driver licence
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- A currently registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance

**Desirable**:

- Attained a minimum level of Certificate III in Individual Support or similar Aged care qualifications (your work duties may be limited if you don't have a qualification in Individual Support)
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.

Pay: From $38.25 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
