As a Manager of Nature and Biodiversity, you will play a crucial role in shaping our nature and biodiversity strategy, driving impactful initiatives that protect natural environments.

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of our nature and biodiversity strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects such as conservation reserve development, impact lending, and nature-related financial disclosure capability. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the community and the planet.

This role can be based out of our Melbourne office or Sydney office. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills, deep expertise in nature and biodiversity, and the ability to navigate new and emerging areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation of our nature and biodiversity strategy
  • Implementing engagement with and reporting under the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures
  • Fostering collaboration between nature and biodiversity strategy and other impact areas
  • Overseeing the Bank Australia conservation reserve, including partner contracts and stakeholder relationships
  • Supporting the Impact Lending team to identify nature-related commercial opportunities
