Environmental Engineer

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the organization's infrastructure aligns with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to guarantee compliance with national and local environmental regulations, contractual obligations, and internal policies.
  • Support business growth through environmental due diligence reviews and permitting support, fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Collaborate across departments to drive environmentally responsible practices, developing and implementing initiatives that promote sustainability.
  • Oversee the maintenance of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ensuring seamless operations and adherence to Amazon standards.
  • Lead teams in completing tasks in accordance with established protocols, guaranteeing work quality and efficiency.
  • Develop, analyze, and forecast environmental metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and driving informed decision-making.
  • Participate in environmental audits to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions and best practices.
  • Establish strong relationships with various stakeholders to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively, promoting a culture of open communication.
  • Deliver timely and accurate environmental reports to regulatory agencies, showcasing expertise and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, geology, geography, biology, or related field, accompanied by 4+ years of experience as an environmental technical resource, consultant, manager, or program specialist.
  • Possess broad knowledge of environmental regulations, auditing principles, waste management, and ISO 14001 standards, demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and exceptional analytical abilities, serving as a strategic asset to the organization.
