Job Overview:

This role is part of the Financial Services Division, maintaining fiscal accountability of juvenile placement funds for prevention, intervention, and other youth services.

The successful candidate will serve as a financial liaison between staff, providers, and office administrators, ensuring accurate data entry, timely payments, and optimal use of available funding sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain fiscal accountability of juvenile placement funds
  • Analyze provider payment data to ensure compliance with contracts and funding sources
  • Enter payments for youth placements and review JCATS entries for accuracy
  • Reconcile JCATS data with SABHRS
  • Track and monitor funding sources to optimize use of appropriated funds
  • Provide budget status reports to probation officers
  • Offer fiscal guidance to Chief Probation Officers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Possession of an associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or three years of experience in an accounting or financial field. Experience with governmental accounting and using SABHRS preferred.

Working Conditions:
