Mathematics Education Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Education Professional to join our team at Karratha Senior High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students in years 7-12, with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong professional knowledge, effective teaching practices, and relevant experience in delivering engaging and meaningful secondary school mathematics curricula. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to collaborate closely with students, staff, and the wider school community.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to analyze and apply data, such as NAPLAN and OLNA results, to inform planning, instruction, and assessment. This will enable the successful candidate to tailor their teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and drive continuous improvement in student outcomes.

In addition to delivering high-quality mathematics education, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of a whole-school instructional model that ensures consistent, high-quality teaching across all learning areas. They will also participate in formal and informal instructional coaching and support, ensuring that they stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
