Climate Risk Manager Job Opportunity

A motivated Climate Risk Manager is sought to lead climate-related projects that support organisations in disclosing and managing their climate risks.

This role involves coordinating projects, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality outcomes while contributing directly to the development of carbon footprints, climate risk assessments, transition plans, and reporting content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, and client communications
  • Contribute directly to the delivery of project content (e.g. emissions inventories, climate risk assessments, transition plans, and climate-related disclosures)
  • Facilitate and support climate risk and opportunity workshops
  • Coordinate task allocation and monitor progress across project team members and external contributors
Requirements:
  • Degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, business, risk or related field
  • Previous experience in project management (formal PM qualifications not essential)
  • Solid understanding of carbon accounting and climate-related risks
Deliverables:
  • Develop and maintain robust project timelines
  • Ensure project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
