Children's Residential Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive family relationships and helps individuals reach their full potential.
About The RoleYou will be working within a residential setting, reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, and contributing to delivering a positive customer experience. This role requires you to work with a trauma-informed framework to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to young people, ensuring a safe and welcoming home-like environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans that promote personal growth and development.
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent, or working towards.
- Valid Australian full driver's licence for the state you have applied for.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check.
- Hold or be willing to obtain Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid, and CPR qualifications.
