
Healthcare Leadership Position

This pivotal leadership role offers the chance to provide management and supervision of a nursing team in an after-hours setting. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience with staff coordination and allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise safe, quality care
- Support and liaise with Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Executive, and Nurse Unit Managers
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Oversee the safety of patients and hospital staff
- Provide overarching management to the hospital after hours
Requirements:
- 5 years of Registered Nursing Mental Health experience in an acute setting
- Recent inpatient mental health management experience at ANUM level or higher
- Demonstrated experience with staff coordination and allocation
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching
- Ability to manage special projects and portfolios
- Post Graduate Qualification in a mental health related discipline or management (desired)
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)
