Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead projects in our justice portfolio and ensure community engagement on policy and law impacts. As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for delivering innovative internal communications and shaping information sharing with the community.

This is a temporary position available immediately for 6 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

The selected candidate will join our small but fast-moving branch, which values new ideas and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting projects, motivate your team, and deliver excellent outcomes that support business priorities.

  • Deliver exceptional communications and engagement advice and services
  • Develop innovative approaches to informing audiences and understanding complex projects
  • Work collaboratively with business teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals

This role requires relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience working professionally in media or communications and engagement. The ability to work flexibly with occasional weekend and after-hours work is also required.

Requirements:
