Job Overview
  • We are currently recruiting for the Emergency Retrieval team in various roles.

As a Medical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in regional living while being part of a team that provides critical care services to patients across Australia.

A Day in the Life
  • No two days or two patients will be the same.
  • You will participate in a rotating training program with placements in Dubbo and Broken Hill, as well as local hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced medical services to patients in need.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and communities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience.
  • Advanced trainee level from one of the following colleges: CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, ACRRM (with JCCA/DRGA).
  • Completed a minimum total of 18 months critical care time (ED and ICU) and 6 months anaesthetics.
  • Experience in managing critically ill patients including trauma.
  • Ideal completion of ALS, APLS, ATLS (or equivalent).
  • Recent practice in a critical care environment.
