As a key member of our production team, we are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Packaging and Warehouse Specialist to join us in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plant and packaging equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Efficiently operate packaging machinery and equipment to produce finished goods to required standards.
- Perform warehouse duties, including driving forklifts and loading/unloading trucks.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure cleanliness and safety in all equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve weekly packing and distribution goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- High School Certificate with basic numerical and verbal skills.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Previous experience in an operating environment is desirable.
- Licence to perform high risk work is desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shiftwork and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
