About The Project

This project involves extending an existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads.

The extension includes eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

Your Role

As a Technical Officer - Traffic, you will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety.

You will provide general safety advice and support the delivery team to reduce injury and accidents arising from the workplace.

  • Develop and ensure that Traffic Management Plans & TGSs are in accordance with relative standards for Queensland.
  • Implement Traffic Management Plans effectively.
  • Monitor compliance with safety systems and procedures, particularly traffic management within the workplace.
  • Investigate all traffic incidents and community concerns related to traffic issues.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • TMD Open qualification.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Senior Road Safety Auditor experience.
  • At least three years of traffic management experience.
  • Experience monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on performance, compliance, and defects.
