Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Residential Care Team at one of our sites in North Plympton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our clients and working closely with the Care Manager and Residential Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Care Manager and Residential Services Manager to direct and deliver high-quality nursing care to our clients.
  • Lead and supervise support provision for daily living in accordance with each resident's care/service plan.
  • Assess residents' conditions and functional abilities and identify, manage and evaluate risks.
  • Ensure optimal use of medications, monitoring for adverse effects and administering in a timely and safe manner.
  • Provide leadership, direction, support and mentoring to Personal Carers, Enrolled Nurses, Hotel Service staff, Lifestyle, Maintenance and Administration staff on each shift.
  • Ensure clear and succinct handovers from shift to shift and relevant documentation in the 7-day handover sheet correlate with progress notes, alert notification forms, care plans suggested change forms and risk management plans.
  • Ensure all staff read and comply with relevant policies, procedures and work instructions.

About You

We are looking for people who possess excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, at least 1-2 years of experience working in an aged care environment and sound knowledge of contemporary best practice clinical knowledge.

Salary Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
