Role Overview

Sonder Responders play a vital role in our operations, providing hands-on support to members in need.

This is a flexible casual position that offers an excellent work-life balance with the flexibility to choose your own schedule.

As a Sonder Responder, you will work on a dynamic 24-hour on-call roster, responding to incidents and offering assistance to those in need.

  • You will assist the Response Network Manager in engaging stakeholders, nurturing partnership relations, and providing input to operational procedures.
  • You will provide emergency and non-emergency support responses as required to support the network of responders in your area.

We are seeking experienced individuals from the military, law enforcement, mental health sector or emergency services industries who are passionate about assisting people in need.

You will have recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military and/or security-related work and a strong network of contacts in the local area.

A high level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management is essential, along with the ability to set priorities, act on key issues and make quick decisions while displaying interpersonal sensitivity.

The ability to work a flexible, on-call roster is also necessary.
