Job Description">

As the Enterprise Controls Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's controls program to ensure that critical operational, enterprise and strategic controls are well-designed, effectively implemented, and operating efficiently. You will provide expert advice, deliver key assurance activities, and build capability across the business to support informed decision-making and a strong governance culture aligned with our strategic objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications">
  • Proven expertise in controls design and assurance, with extensive experience in shaping and embedding strong control frameworks across complex organisational environments.
  • Skilled in leading the design, implementation, and continual refinement of enterprise controls to meet both public sector requirements and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute assurance programs, conduct control design and effectiveness testing, and drive improvements that enhance overall governance and risk resilience.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder collaboration and advisory, with highly developed skills in building strong partnerships across first- and second-line teams, governance, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Experienced in providing expert guidance on compliance alignment, developing remediation strategies, and enhancing organisational capability through training, education, and awareness initiatives.
  • Demonstrated strength in controls reporting and risk analysis, specialising in producing high-impact reporting and insights that inform strategic decision-making at executive and board level.
