As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering preventative and reactive maintenance schedules safely, on time.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for the building shell, fixtures, fittings, and surrounding grounds.
  • Oversee the completion of minor repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring all work is tracked and accounted for.
  • Manage contractors to ensure they achieve agreed outcomes and operate safely.
  • Ensure electrical compliance and complete emergency lighting discharge and PAT testing.
  • Regularly report maintenance updates via checklists and capex projections.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and colleagues.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and first aid duties when required.
  • Raise awareness about the club's environmental impact and provide solutions to reduce utility consumption across electricity, gas, water, and waste.
  • Collaborate with the HOD team to assess, monitor, and improve building services.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant facility property maintenance experience, including HVAC experience and first aid certification.
  • Relevant trade qualification (electrical or air con and refrigeration) and ability to obtain a Pool Operators certificate (if required).
  • Aligned experience and multi-skilled knowledge of building services and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
