Job Overview

The Sourcing Specialist role involves managing strategic sourcing exercises to procure goods and services effectively.

This position primarily supports Facilities, Maintenance, and Corporate procurement activities.

Detailed engagement with senior-level stakeholders is necessary to explore business requirements and industry dynamics.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility in working arrangements.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead negotiations of complex agreements with suppliers and partners.
  • Develop fact-based sourcing strategies and perform opportunity analysis to deliver cost savings.
  • Design project plans and ensure organizational financial goals are met.
  • Advise on the development of strategic sourcing programs and procurement methodologies.
  • Influence operational direction across the business, particularly with respect to opportunities in procurement markets.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Procurement or Business is essential.
  • Experience in Electricity, Facilities Repairs, and Corporate would be advantageous, with knowledge of strategic sourcing techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement practices is required, particularly with respect to developing fact-based sourcing strategies.
  • Confidence in preparing and delivering sourcing presentations is necessary.
